Marshmallow Chick Easter Candy Shaker Card Assembly

Supplies

• Light yellow cardstock

• Yellow cardstock

• Brown cardstock or vinyl

• White cardstock

• Acetate

• Double-sided foam tape

• Craft glue or tape runner

• Shaker card filler - rhinestones, sequins, etc.

• Scissors

Assembly Steps

1. Cut the pieces on your cutting machine. You can use brown vinyl instead of cardstock for the eye to make it easier to apply.

2. Fold and score the light yellow card base. Glue the white insert inside the card base.

3. Glue the acetate to the back of the yellow front piece that creates the outline of the chick. Remember to peel off the protective layer on your acetate, if the brand you are using has it.

4. Apply the double-sided foam tape all around the chick shape of the yellow front outline piece over the acetate. Make sure that you don’t have any gaps or shaker bits might leak out. Don’t peel off the layer of paper protecting the sticky top of the foam yet!

5. Add your filler to the center of the chick-shaped foam tape area.

6. Now carefully peel the protective layer on top side of the foam tape.

7. Grab the card base and hold it facing you so that it opens correctly. Now flip the card base facedown and hover it over the card front. Carefully algin the base with the card front and then press down firmly.
   
   Make sure that you line up the base exactly before touching it down to the card front. Once the foam tape touches the base, it is stuck.

8. Flip your card over and glue on the brown dot for the eye.

9. Now give the card a good shake. Enjoy!
