Box Envelope Assembly

These box envelopes are designed for thick cards, such as shakers and shadow box cards. They also have a specially designed 4-piece modular construction so that they can be cut on Letter/A4 paper and with smaller cutting machines such as the Cameo Portrait and Cricut Joy. These envelopes are also a great way to use up larger scraps of 12×12 cardstock.

Assembly Steps

  1. Fold and crease both sets of score lines on all four pieces.

  2. Glue the side pieces to the back piece with the flap.

  3. Push the side pieces the same direction so that both remaining glue tabs are face up. Add glue and align the front piece with the glue tab store lines.

  4. Add glue to the tab on the bottom and then tuck it inside the box envelope. Reach inside with your hand or bone folder to push down the glue tab.

  5. Slide in your card and secure the flap with glue, tape or a sticker.
