Daisy Pop Happy Birthday Card Assembly
The video above shows the Daisy Pop Mother’s Day card, however the same general assembly instructions apply to all of the cards in the Daisy Pop collection.
Supplies
Yellow cardstock
Light pink cardstock
Pink cardstock
White cardstock
Light grey cardstock
Pink adhesive vinyl or printer for Happy Birthday text*
Adhesive of choice (glue, tape runner, tape dots)
A weeding tool or spatula tool is recommended to help fold up the petals.
*For the Happy Birthday text, you can either use adhesive vinyl or print and cut. If you choose to print and cut, ensure that grouping of banners with the Happy Birthday text is sized at 3.63 x 2.71 inches before you print so that it fits on the grey banner correctly.
Assembly Steps
Fold and score the card base.
Attach the yellow piece to the front of the card base.
On the light pink piece, find the daisy on the side towards the center with three petals (see the arrow in step 3 in the diagram on the right). Position this piece so that this flower with only three petals is on bottom of the left side when facing you.
Using a weeding hook or spatula tool, gently fold the petals towards you.
Attach the light pink piece to the front of the card.
If you used adhesive vinyl, stick the vinyl down on the white banners - the banner for Happy is slightly shorter than the banner for Birthday.
Attach the white banners to the grey banner background piece. Note that the top of the grey banner piece is slightly smaller than the bottom since Happy is a shorter word than Birthday.
Attach the banner to the front of the card. The banner will overlap the center of some of the daisies surrounding it.
Attach the pink frame to the front of the card. The frame will cover part of the center on the flowers that are in the corners.
