Daisy Pop Cupcake Topper Assembly
Supplies
Yellow cardstock
White cardstock
Glue
Hot glue
Foam tape
Toothpick
What Paper I Used
For this cupcake topper, I used Encore textured cardstock from 12×12 Cardstock Shop in the following colors:
Banana Pudding
Snowy White
As an alternative, the AC Cardstock Pastel collection (Buy on Amazon) has white and yellow that work well for this cupcake topper. You can buy individual colors of AC Cardstock from 12×12 Cardstock Shop.
Assembly Steps
Glue the white daisy piece on top of the yellow daisy piece. Make double the amount of finished cupcake toppers that you need.
Hot glue (recommended) a toothpick to the back of one of the daisy pieces.
Use foam tape (recommended) to attach a second finished daisy piece to the back, sandwiching the toothpick.
Note: I recommend using hot glue for the toothpick to make sure that it is held securely. I also recommend using foam tape to create space for the toothpick between the daisies. Otherwise, you will see a line where the toothpick bumps out on the finished cupcake topper. You can see the line in the image to the right. The cupcake topper on the right of the image was assembled without foam tape.
